Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online degrees/diplomas are not accepted), and
• Current Nursing (RN) license in the North America, Western Europe, or Australia/New Zealand, and
• Minimum two years of current experience as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area, working in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in North America, Western Europe, or Australia/New Zealand.

Department Information

The Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) provides 24 hours intensive nursing care for patients? aged above 14 years old. MSICU patients may be admitted from the Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM), other in-patient nursing units, Operating Room (OR), and other external referrals. The MSICU has a total of twenty-one (21) beds distributed as follows:-

• 18 beds in-house
• 2 VIP ICU beds
• 1 Royal Suite ICU bed

The primary conditions and diagnoses treated are:

• All critically ill Medical patients requiring intensive care or observation
• Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Failure, and Renal Failure
• Critically ill Hematology/Oncology, Immunocompromised patients
• Sepsis
• Shock (Cardiogenic, Septic, Anaphylactic)
• Neurological cases (CVAs, Intracerebral, Epidural, and Subdural Hematomas)
• Complicated surgical cases (Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedics and General Surgery)
• Occasional Trauma cases
